At Cairns Netball, we’re proud to offer one of the most impressive netball facilities in the Far North region. Our commitment to excellence and innovation ensures our players, spectators, and community enjoy the best possible experience, both on and off the court.

Our Facilities

16 Hard Courts

Cairns Netball is home to 16 hard courts, which are surfaced to ensure safe play and durability in our harsh Far North climate, including drainage systems suitable for our tropical climate. All courts at the facility have ample LED lighting and grandstands to ensure the comfort of players, coaches, scorers and spectators. Plus a state-of-the-art public announcement system, ensuring guests at the venue are kept up to date.

4 courts at our Martyn Street home are completely undercover, allowing competitions to continue during heavy rain or harsh sunlight.

Clubhouse

Our on-site canteen is the perfect place to re-energise, offering fresh, varied menu options for players and spectators. Operating during weekly evening training and competition nights, the canteen serves hot food, dinners, and snacks, complemented by a licensed bar serving on specific evenings.

Gluten-free options are available; it is advised to confirm specific requirements.

Shade Structures

In 2025, we introduced permanent home and away benches for each of the 16 courts. This provides protection from rain and provides shade at every court at the venue.

Solar Panels

To improve the energy efficiency and independence of our sporting facilities, in 2023, we invested in solar panels and battery systems to minimise our reliance on the grid and reduce carbon emissions.

Car Park

There are 250 car park spaces, providing plenty of off-road parking during winter and summer competitions.
